We initiated our path in the year 2005 in the Santa Maria neighborhood of Barranquilla, with a cafeteria where we provided high-nutritional lunches to children and mothers who were experiencing malnutrition. As time went on we realized that in order to eradicate hunger and poverty, it was not sufficient to give them a lunch that would improve their nutritional condition, but that it was necessary to establish comprehensive actions to mitigate the root causes of this problem and cause a real impact in the social, economic and emotional development of the families. That is how our Comprehensive Model nu3 was born with its 4 pillars: Education, Health, Nutrition and Entrepreneurship. Today we assist not only children, but also pregnant and breast-feeding mothers, youngsters, adults and seniors.
